Welcome to the website of Fokkina McDonnell. She has over 20 years experience of helping people make significant changes in their personal and professional lives. Fokkina uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and coaching to help clients overcome their problems and lead more fulfilling lives. Therapy may be short-term, to support clients through a crisis, or helping them deal with a specific problem. It can also be long-term where a person wants to explore questions of identity, or the cause of unhealthy, or unhelpful behaviour patterns.
Fokkina specialises in using EMDR with clients who have experienced multiple or single trauma.

Fokkina also provides supervision to other practitioners, such as psychotherapists (in training), executive coaches, hypnotherapists, as well as specialist EMDR Supervision.
